I had a few more left over colored images on my desk from past projects, so I was busy this weekend make cards out of them. This one features Mama Elephant Stackable Cuties from a few releases ago.
Since these were already colored and die cut, I just needed to do a little bit more die cutting to create a background. To be completely honest, I wasn’t in the mood to color so I knew it would be just utilizing the dies from my die stash.
I pulled out Galantic Cover for my background which I die cut onto kraft color card stock. Then I wanted to ground the three stackable cuties, so I used a tag from Tags a Lot – Creative Cuts and die cut one of the medium tags in black card stock.
Next I needed a sentiment. Remember, I was really trying not to have to stamp or color, so I found the hello from On the Hills – Creative Cuts and it was perfect! I die cut the hello sentiment and the clouds from On the Hills to finish a little scene.
I adhered everything onto my card base with foam tape and my card is complete! This card is very different color scheme wise than my usual cards, but I think the soft coloring of my images still kept it very much within my style. What do you think?
