Hi friends! Today I am sharing a project featuring Hello Sweetums Seas the Day stamp set and coordinating dies. These images are so, so cute and pairs perfectly with the cute critters from Hello Sweetums Ocean of Encouragements stamp set that I had to add a few members as supporting cast.
To begin, I colored all my images with alcohol markers and die cut with coordinating dies. Next, I inked up a A2 side panel with Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar (just a little bit on top), Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Peacock Feathers. Then I cut out two pieces of “sand” and ink blended these with Distress Oxide in Rusty Hinge I splashed water and a few paint splatter in the sand and let this dry completely.
After everything dried, I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder before moving on to assemble my card.
I popped up two pieces of sand with foam tape on top of the “sea” blended A2 panel. I then adhered all my images with a mix of either foam tape or wet glue depending on where they went on the scene – everything on the sand is glued directly on to the sand, everything in the water is popped up with foam tape.
I adhered the entire thing to an A2 card base and my card is finished! I hope I inspired you to also ‘seas the day’ and make something fun today! Thank you for stopping by!
