Hello, friends! For today, I created a card using Hello Sweetums Funky Monkey from the March release. The stamps from this company are so adorable and Kawaii (Japanese for cute), I love every stamp set I’ve gotten from them. But more than just being adorable, the stamps all stamp out beautiful and the coordinating dies come in individual dies – I don’t have to cut them apart! Haha. Small yet big deal, people. Haha

Anyways, enough gushing – it’s time to get to the card making. I first stamped all the images with brown ink and colored with Copic markers. Next I cut them all out with coordinating dies and set them aside.
For my background, I did some ink blending with Distress Ink in Evergreen Bough, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron blending into white. I then used some water to lift some of the ink and splattered with paint. For my sentiment, I stamped it onto some green cardstock and heat embossed in white.

To assemble, I used a tape runner to tape my sentiment first. Next I glued down the vines. For the monkeys, I used foam tape and arranged them into my cute scene. I glued the bananas onto the monkey with wet glue and let it all dry before popping the entire thing to an A2 card base.

And that’s it! That’s all from me and these funky monkey friends! Thank you for stopping by and don’t forget to stop by Hello Sweetums and check out the rest of their release.
