Pretty Pink Posh Piñata Party | Wobble Action Birthday Card

Pretty Pink Posh Pinata

Hi again! Today I am sharing my first wobble action card! It is so fun and cute, I am so excited to share this with you guys.

I stamped out the Piñata from Pretty Pink Posh Piñata Party stamp set and colored with Copic markers. I die cut with coordinating dies and set this aside for the amazing background I’m about to make.

You every plan to do something and most of the time it isn’t as amazing as you imagined. But every 100 project, one idea turns out to be even more amazing than you can imagine? Guys – this is that card for me.

I was inspired by my friend, Keeway, to add rays to a card. I’ve had this stencil from My Favorite Things for forever now and she recently did a card that I absolutely love and decided to try this technique – boy, am I glad I did!

To start, I ink blended with a rainbow of Distress Oxide. I let this dry completely then I put my stencil on top and went over the entire thing with white pigment ink. The results were stunning. I’m not the best photographer so I don’t think photos do this background any justice!

After the background dried completely, I heat emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder. Then, I die cut this background with Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Notes dies.

I adhere the little wobble action mechanism to the back of my colored pinata and adhered it to my background. I adhered the entire thing onto a card base with my trusty tape runner. I trimmed the sides down just to have the card look more proportional, so this card is slightly smaller than the standard A2 size.

Check out that wobble!

To finish, I added the new Party Jewels Mix to my entire card and my card is complete! I hope you love this card as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by!
