MAMA ELEPHANT Little Superhero Agenda | Designer Series

March 22, 2021

Hello, friends! Thi here and today I am sharing a fun slimline card I made with Mama Elephant Little Superhero Agenda stamp set and the new Slim Comic Strip – Creative Cut that cuts out the perfect frame for this slimline card. I decided to make a card for a friend I haven’t seen for awhile due to the pandemic and these sentiments from the Comic Sayings stamp set couldn’t be anymore perfect.

To start, I colored the images from Little Superhero Agenda with Copic markers in fun, bright primary colors and die cut them with their coordinating dies.

Next, I die cut Slim Comic Strip – CC onto a piece of Bristol smooth card stock. I kept the inside pieces and ink blended skies for each of them with Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass.

I wanted a fun sentiment that would stand out among the sky and sweet little images, so I pulled out the “hello” word die from the On The Hill – CC (an oldie but goodie).

For assembly, I glued the frame and inside sky pieces directly onto a slimline card base that I made to match the dimension of the frame. I glued the “hello” die cut on next.

I popped each of the little critters onto the card base with foam tape then finished the card by stamping sentiments from Comic Saying directly onto the card – and that’s it! My card is finished!
