Trinity Stamp Debut Blog Hop

May 31, 2018

Hello, crafty friends! Today I am so excited to be part of a blog hop to celebrate a new stamp company, Trinity Stamps. A very special crafty friend of mine is an illustrator for them. Please check out their first release! Lots of adorable goodies already coming out from this new company.

Today’s card I made features their Coffee with Character stamp set. This is a LARGE set you guys. It’s 6×8 filled with fun mix and match coffee characters. I was overwhelmed by too many ideas because there was too much cuteness.

I started off by stamping some images with Copic-friendly ink onto some white cardstock and colored the images with Copic markers.

Then, I fussy cut the images since I did a little customization by adding handles to the mugs before stamping. Next time, I’m going to stamp them as is so I can use my coordinating dies to cut them out.

I then used a frame die and took out the negative spaces and ink blended with Distress ink in rainbow colors. I adhered those pieces to an A2 card base with foam tape for dimension. I then added all the colored images onto the card with more foam tape.

Next, I went on to work on the sentiment. I used the Caffeinated Sentiments and created my own sentiment by mixing and matching all the little words that come with it. You can come up with so many ideas but I’m not super creative so I decided on “thinking of brew” which is super cute and makes me smile! I heat embossed the sentiment in silver and adhered it to the card with foam tape.

Lastly, I finished the card with some Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear confetti and my card is finished!
