Hello, friends! For my blog hop project today, I made a card featuring Shall We Dance from Mama Elephant’s June release! How precious are these animals in tutus?! My daughter has been in ballet since she was 3 years old (she is 10 now) and this set is so perfect for us! I know we will be using it alot together. I will love to share one of her cards some day on my blog (if she lets me…haha) Anyways, this card will be perfect for any little girl (or boy!) who has a passion for ballet!
To begin, I stamped with brown ink and watercolored with my current favorite coloring medium, Arteza watercolor markers. I die cut and set aside to work on a simple background.
I die cut Cloudy Day Cover out of Bristol smooth paper and ink blended with Distress Inks in (from bottom up) Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, Abandon Coral and Dried Marigold again.
I adhered my die cut background onto an A2 card base then glued all my colored images direction onto this (tucking in the ballerinas under the clouds here and there).
