Hi there! Today I am sharing a card I made with Mama Elephant My Pet Kitties and Frilly Window Frame – Creative Cuts! I saw that sleepy kitten and knew I wanted her sleeping on a window sill. Since I didn’t get a chance to use Frilly Window Frame yet, this was the perfect choice!
While my die cutting machine was out, I also die cut the window from Frilly Window Frame – CC.
Since I am making a shaker card, I used the same die to cut a window out of some cute heart pattern paper I decided would look like adorable “wallpaper”.
I inlayed the window into the pattern paper and adhered acetate behind it. And this is my card front!
Next, I used foam tape to build up the back of my shaker before filling it with fun stars confetti I got from Target.
For behind the shaker element, I heat embossed a sentiment from Wishful Taggins then ink blended the back with Distress Oxide in Broken China to look like a sky.
I adhered the backing to my shaker mechanism and then adhered the entire thing onto an A2 card base.
To finish, I added a thin white strip of card stock at the bottom to look like floor moulding. I then adhered all my images onto my card and it is finished!
