Today we are highlighting Mama Elephant Little Agenda Spaceship from the June 2020 release! I feel this stamp set has all my favorite things in one set: Mama Elephant sweet agenda critters, space images and planets with faces! LOL.
Nevermind my grittiness – let’s just start. To begin, I stamped and colored all my images with Copic markers. After I finished coloring, I stamped them out with their coordinating dies.
For my background, I ink blended a galaxy sky on Bristol Smooth paper with Distress Oxides in: Chipped Sapphire, Shaded Lilac, Victorian Velvet, and Tattered Rose. I added splatters of water to lift some of the ink then splattered a ton of small white paint splatters to mimic a starry sky.
While my background dried, I stamped my sentiment onto some pink card stock and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.
After my background was completely dried, I die cut it with the stitched large rectangle from Slim Card Basics – CC. Next, I also die cut the scallop frame onto white card stock.
I made a slim line card base slightly smaller than the scallop frame and adhered it to the back for an illusion of a shaped card. I then mounted the galaxy piece onto the scallop background with foam tape. Next I arranged my colored images and sentiment with additional foam tape.
I felt the card could use a little more pizazz, so I die cut the starts from Inline Balloons – CC with silver glitter card stock and glued them directly onto the galaxy sky. That was just the touch I needed to feel this card is finished!
And that’s it! Thank you so much for stopping by today! Ciao!
