Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop! Mama Elephant’s newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!
Today I am sharing a birthday card I made using two brand new products, Zodiac Pig stamps and Four Window Cover die. I love these little piggies and they fit into these windows perfectly! In fact, all the animals in the Zodiac series do!
To start, I stamped and colored my images with Arteza markers. After I finished coloring, I die cut them all with their coordinating dies.
I also die cut the Four Window Cover in kraft card stock. For inside the windows, I also die cut a piece of Bristol smooth paper and ink blended each of the rectangles in different Distress Oxides – Pinks: Worn Lipstick & Spun Sugar, Teals: Peacock Feathers & Tumbled Glass, Green: Cracked Pistachio, Orange: Spiced Marmalade & Dried Marigold.
I stamped a sentiment from Hogs And Kisses with Versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder.
Lastly, I assembled the card by popping the kraft Four Window Cover onto an A2 card base with foam tape. Then I glued each of the ink blended rectangles directly onto the card. My images were them adhered with more foam tape for dimension. For the last finishing touches, I glued each of the accessories also from Zodiac Pig onto the card and my card is finished!
