The Scene Builder stamp set is perfect for beautiful and interesting backgrounds to build out scenes for your cards – hence it’s perfect name. Haha.
I started by stamping the trees stamp with a green dye ink onto white card stock. I then did a little Copic coloring within the greens and grass to create a one layer scene.
For the sentiment, I stamped the “Happy Birthday” from Garden Frame stamp set with Mama Elephant Ocean pigment ink. At this point, I also added some clouds from Scene Builder with Mama Elephant Fresh Mint pigment ink.
Next, I die cut the scene with the smaller frame from Sew Fancy – Creative Cuts. Then I backed it with a piece of pink card stock that I cut out with the larger frame. I ink blended the bottom with Distress Oxide and spatted a little white paint onto it. When it dried, I popped the background onto it with foam tape.
To finish, I stamped and colored the rooster and the balloon from Zodiac Rooster and added them onto the card with foam tape. This finishes the scene and the card!
