Hi there! Today my card is highlighting Mama Elephant Snow Friends stamp set which I paired with the ever so popular Winter Forest Cover die. Also, this is the first time I masked anything and it came out AMAZING! I really wanted to make a moon and was so happen when it worked!
To begin, I stamped my images and colored them with my watercolor markers. I cut them out with coordinating dies and set them aside to work on my intense background – haha.
For the background, I cut out a piece of Bristol smooth to A2 size (4.25 x 5.5). Next, I die cut a small circle onto masking paper, peeled it and stuck it onto my A2 Bristol paper where I wanted the moon to be. I then ink blended with Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire. I splashed on water to lift some dots and then added more dots with white paint to create a snow flurry!
I then die cut Winter Forest Cover onto some white card stock and glued this onto of my ink blended background. I just made the perfect winter scene, you guys.
To finish, I stamped my sentiment then popped my colored images onto the card base with foam tape for dimension.
My card is finished, it feels like Christmas and I’m so happy you all stopped by today! Thank you so much and see you next time!
