Hello, crafty friends! Today’s card highlight the adorable Mama Elephant Beach Chickies illustrated by Aida Zamora. I love her images and she was my inspiration for my clean and simple card today where I did some light watercoloring for my background.
Let’s begin, shall we? I first stamped and colored my images with Arteza markers. I then die cut them and set them aside. I die cut a piece of white Bristol smooth card stock with the Framed Tags – Artist Mat CC and also die cut the tiniest cloud from Puffy Clouds CC with some left over Bristol smooth card stock.
I watercolored the inside piece from the Framed Tags – Artist Mat CC with Arteza markers to create a little background scene with water, sand and a sky. After this dried, I stamped a sentiment that comes with Beach Chickies.
I put the card together by first adhering the scallop frame piece onto an A2 card base with foam tape for dimension. Next I glued the water color piece in the center directly onto the card base.
I glued the cloud on first then arrange my colored images on top with more foam tape for dimension.
That’s it for my card! I hope you enjoyed reading about the process and as always, thank you so much for stopping by!
