Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop!
Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!
Today I am sending you all a lot of sunshine with these sweet little chickies from the new stamp set, Beach Chickies by Mama Elephant. Don’t these little guys just make you want to head for the beach?!
Before you make your way to the beach, let’s start my card by coloring all my images with Zig markers. I cut them out and set aside to work on the background and card base.
I love that Mama Elephant has such a beautiful selection of cover dies to easily make an impactful design without having to do very much. For today’s card, I die cut the Tri Window Cover – Creative Cuts out of kraft card stock to create a fun frame. I then die cut a second piece out of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended the inside pieces with Distress Inks. (I saved the white piece and will use it for another product soon!
I put a lot of foam tape on the frame and adhered it to an A2 top-folding card base.
I glued the inside piece directly onto the cardbase to set it into the frame. (Side note: that little guy in sunglasses and that mermaid chickie – KILLS me with cuteness!)
Next, I adhered all my images with a mixture of foam tape and wet glue, depending on where they will go on the card. I was able to make three mini scenes on my card with this fun tri window die.
That is my card for today. Thank you so much for stopping by and do not forget to leave a comment here for a chance to win the giveaway!
