Hello crafty friends!
I am lucky enough to have my hands on this amazing stamp set, Damask Greetings , an exclusive collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and Pretty Pink Posh. This set is so interesting. It isn’t my usual style but I am so happy to be pushed out of my comfort zone because I am in love with what I made with it. Actually, while I was making it, all these other ideas came to me so I will probably be making a few things with this set to share!
I created a pattern using two of the stamps from the set and some Memento Dye Ink in New Sprout and Summer Sky. I used my trusty Misti stamping tool to get clean stamps each time. This ink can be tricky in that it takes a few stamps to get a good solid image. I used qStitched Borders 2 die at the bottom and mounted this panel to a piece of teal cardstock with foam tape for dimension. I mounted this entire thing on an A2 card base and it was done!
It was still looking like it needed a little more, so I took out my favorite 3mm sparkling clear diamonds and a few sparkling clear confetti and added it to the damask pattern. The shine is everything! It totally finished the card and I can’t stop looking at it!
I hope you liked the card as much as I do. Thank you for stopping by!
