Today I am sharing a card I made using Celebration Hamsters stamp set and Word Cover – HBTY – Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant’s February release. Birthday cards are always what I need most so I love it when there are new birthdays goodies to play with!
To start, I stamped and watercolored the Celebration Hamster images. Next, I die cut them with their coordinating dies.
For the background, I ink blended watercolor paper with Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Mustard Seed before die cutting it with Word Cover – HBTY – CC.
I mounted the ink blended piece onto an A2 top-folding card base I made out of pink card stock so that “happy birthday to you” would show as pink! I love this so much and it’s so easy to do.
Lastly, I adhered my colored hammier onto the card and my card is finished!
