Hello, friends! Today I am sharing a card to highlight the new Comic Sayings stamp set from Mama Elephant. If you like any of their super hero stamps like the new Little Superhero Agenda or the oldie (but goodie) Tiny Heroes stamp set, these little sentiments will go perfectly with them. Today I decided to make a comic page with Little Superhero Agenda, Comic Sayings, and the new Comic Cover Basic – CC cover die.
To start, I colored my sweet images with Copic markers and die cut them with their coordinating dies.
I die cut the Comic Cover Basic – CC frame in Bristol smooth card stock. I kept the inside pieces and ink blended them fun patterns with some stencils to look like an old retro comic page. I loved how this turned out!
For the sentiment, I stamped out two of the sentiments from Comic Sayings directly onto the yellow background pieces. Everything else I stamped onto white card stock and die cut them out with the new Let’s Chat – Creative Cuts to look like fun speech bubbles! This die set is amazing – you can pair it with any sentiment that will fit and it comes with a variety of sizes.
To finish off the card and add some interest, I borrowed the “BAM!” and “WTF?!” dies from Slim Comic Strip – CC, also part of this release.
I pieced the background together onto an A2 card base. Next I adhered my images and sentiment speech bubbles on with foam tape. And that’s it. My card is finished!
