Today’s card highlights the new sentiment stamp set – Holiday Word Banners by Mama Elephant. This is a very fun and versatile stamp set and I can think of a bunch of ways to use it. I decided to pair it today with Let It Snow from the September release because that set came with this amazing birch tree stamp and it would look cute hanging between two of them.
To begin, I colored my images with Copic markers and die cut them with their coordinating dies.
For my background, I trimmed a small rectangle piece of Bristol smooth paper and ink blended with Distress Oxides: Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Antique Linen. To create a “forest” illusion, I stamped the birch branch in Faded Jeans in the ink blended background.
Next, I made the Holiday Word Banner sentiment by stamping it in Versamark onto green card stock then heat embossing with white embossing powder. I think die cut with it’s coordinating dies.
To put the card together, I adhered all the colored images with foam tape for dimension and my card is finished! As always, thank you for stopping by!
