Today I am sharing a card I made using Zodiac Snake, designed for those born in 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, 2025, 2037 and so on!
According to the internet, those born in the Snake is the most enigmatic animal among the 12 zodiac animals. People born in a year of the Snake are supposed to be the most intuitive. Snakes tend to act according to their own judgments while remaining private and reticent.
If you have family and friends born in the year of the snake, or you just like snakes in general, this is the set for you!
Okay, let’s get started on the card making! I first stamped and colored my images with Zig markers. I added a few fun snake markings on my snake using a darker Zig marker just to add some additional interest.
For the background, I die cut the large panel from Cloud Nine – Creative Cuts and did some simple ink blended with Distress Inks in Stormy Sky and Tea Dye. For the sentiment, I stamped “Happy Birthday to You” from my favorite sentiment stamp set, Scripty Bdays.
To finish, I adhered everything on my card with foam tape. Just to make sure the a birthday Snake card makes sense (even though it’s cute enough not to have to), I added the sentiment from Zodiac Snake to the inside of my card. Isn’t that sentiment the cutest?!
