Hello! Today I am sharing a birthday card I made featuring Peacock Friends by Pretty Pink Posh. I paired it with the Happy Birthday Script die to make a fun birthday card for those peacock lovers out there!

To start, I stamped my images in brown ink and colored with Copic markers. I cut them out and set aside to work on my background.

The background is pretty simple but I chose some fun peacock colors to compliment my colored images. I went with Distress Oxides in Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Antique Linen. I then splashed some water and lifted the ink to create a bokeh affect.

I received a Gemini Jr die cutter for my birthday and it mades cutting out these delicate word dies SO EASY! I love it and been obsessed with die cutting all the things! I die cut “happy birthday” three times on white card stock, stacked and glued them together then glued them onto my ink blended background.

Lastly, I popped my images onto the background with foam tape and adhered the entire thing to a top-folding A2 card base.

That’s it from me today! Happy crafting, friends!
