Today I am sharing a card I made featuring Marine Friends and the Making Waves Cover from the April release!

I stamped all the critters and colored with Copic markers. I really enjoyed coloring these guys. I then die cut them with coordinating dies and added some white gel pen details just for fun.

I die cut a piece of Bristol smooth card stock using the Making Waves Cover die. I then ink blended using Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio and Dried Marigold. Random but I kind of wanted to make it look like you’re going from the deep sea to a sunset in a subtle way. Not sure if I accomplished that, haha, but it’s still colorful and fun! At this point, I stamped my sentiment with Mama Elephant Pigment Ink in Ocean – how appropriate!

I filled the back of this panel with foam tape and popped it onto an A2 card base. I arranged all my colored marine friends onto the waves to create an underwater scene. Lastly, I adhered some clear droplets onto my card to finish it off!
