Hello! Today’s card highlights Mama Elephant’s Little Fairy Agenda from the February release! How cute are these little fairies! I decided to share a birthday card I made today by pairing Little Fairy Agenda with the Cloud Nine CC also from Mama Elephant.
To begin, I stamped and colored the images with Zig markers. I diecut them with coordinating dies and set them aside to work on the background.
For my background, I used Cloud Nine CC large panel to cut out the decorative panel that is the perfect A2 size. Then I used my Zig markers on some Bristol paper and watercolored in pink, blue and yellow. I added some paint splatters and went this dried, I die cut the smaller cloud from Cloud Nine out.
At this point, we can start assembly! I popped the cloud onto the panel with foam tape. Behind my cloud, I taped these cute strings of pom poms to make it look like rain. I then adhered this onto my card base. I added the fairy images and glued the bottom of the pom pom “rain” with Ranger’s Multimedia Matte just so the card had a more finished look.
I actually realized at this point I forgot to stamp my sentiment. But not to fear – I put the entire finished card into my Misti, said a little prayer and stamped my sentiment with Versafine ink and it worked!
That’s it for this card. Thank you for stopping by!
