Hello, friends! Today I am sharing a crafty card I made for a crafty friend. She told me she was having a baby so I made this card just for her!

Mama Elephant New Family stamp set was the perfect stamp set to use for this card! It’s just the sweetest little images especially made for a new addition to any family.
I started out by stamping all the images onto Bristol smooth paper with Versafine in Antique Sepia. I then colored with my Zig Clean Clear Real Brush Markers. Then, I cut out the images with coordinating dies and set them aside to work on the background.

For the background, I did some light ink blending with Distress Ink in Dried Marigold and Spun Sugar. Just to give it a light wash of color and bring back the pinks and oranges I used in my colored images.
For the front panel, I die cut a piece of colored cardstock with two of Mama Elephant’s Creative Cuts: the ornate frame from Framed Tags – Union Square and the outside frame from Cloud Nine CC.

It was now time to assemble the card! I popped the front panel to my blended background with foam take for dimension. I adhered my images with a mix of tape runner and foam tape just to give the little scene some interesting dimension as well.
To finish the card, I added Pretty Pink Posh jewels and my card is complete – the perfect little card for a growing family! I hope you liked my card and thank you for stopping by!
