Hi again! Today I am sharing a card that highlights Mama Elephant Cool Penguins stamps set. These are the cutest images by the fabulous Aida Zamora. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with these when I saw them!
I started by coloring my images very soft colors. I was inspired by Aida’s original works since she always does a very soft watercoloring that is perfect for nurseries. After I finished coloring, I die cut everything out with coordinating dies.
For my background, I kept it simple since I used so many colors for my background. I used some pattern paper and cut it down to A2 size. I arranged my images on top of the background temporarily and stamped the funny sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed in silver embossing powder until smooth and melted.
I used Madison Avenue Creative Cut to cut out a glittery border for my scene out. I try to add a little shine whenever I can! I wasn’t able to photograph it but that frame is amazingly sparkly.
After arranging my scene, I felt the top was a little bit bare. I decided to add the party banners from Swinging Borders and colored it to match to the top of the card. This was exactly the touch I was looking for.
To finish my card, I added a few images straight onto the background with some glue and popped some of the images in front onto foam tape for dimension. Lastly, I put the frame on with some foam tape and my card is complete – a penguin gift wrapping party!
I hope you enjoyed my card and thank you for stopping by!
