Hello everybody! Thi here and I am so honored and excited to be sharing with you this Designer Series project featuring She’s So Lovely and Pocket Envie Creative Cuts.
Today I will be making a window card to showcase the cute Pocket Evie. I started by stamping out these adorable little girls from She’s So Lovely on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. After I finished coloring, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
Next, I die cut a frame with the scallop die from Femme Frames Creative Cuts out of white card stock. I then cut a window in this piece with the Basic Rectangles Creative Cuts. I made a A2 top-folding card based and used the same rectangle die and cut a window in the card base.
Then, I cut the envelope from Pocket Envie Creative Cuts out of some colored card stock. The card stock that I used has two different colors on either side. I cut the Dainty Bow Creative Cuts in the same card stock but used the other side for contrast. Then, I cut out the little note card from Pocket Envie Creative Cuts and heat embossed the “Celebrating You” sentiment from She’s So Lovely. I even left space to write a note since the envelope with be taking up most of the space inside the card.
Now it’s time to assemble the card! I popped the frame I made up with foam tape and carefully align it to the opening on the card base. The dimension added with the foam tape here is important since it gives the dainty bow some room inside the frame. This allows you to put the completed card in an envelope and the bow won’t completely get crushed.
I then used the frame I cut out as a guide to adhere the envelope in the center of the card. I then glued the 3 little girls onto the front of the card and finished off with some hearts from the new Lots of Hearts Creative Cuts.
That’s it from me. I hope you like my project and that I inspired you . Thank you for stopping by!
