Hi again! Today’s card features Mama Elephant Animal Parade! I made a birthday card using a few critters and the fun wavy sentiment from this set.
First, I stamped all the images with Copic-friendly ink onto white heavy-weight card stock. I then colored with my Copic markers. I heat embossed the “Happy Birthday” sentiment onto the adorable flag that the bear is holding. I die cut everything with coordinating dies and set aside to work on my background.
For the background, I used the largest rectangle from Basic Rectangles Creative Cuts (it perfectly covers an A2 card front) to die cut a background piece I can ink blend on for the background. I blended Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Tattered Rose and Spun Sugar keeping it darker at the bottom and gradually lighter on top.
Then, I used the On the Hills Creative Cuts to die cut the clouds and the curved ground onto white card stock. I popped these pieces up with foam tape and adhered it to my ink blended background.
Next, I arranged the animal parade with more foam tape onto the background. I finished the card with some Pretty Pink Posh iridescent star confetti.
Thanks again for stopping by. I hope I inspired you to make something today!
I was so thoroughly inspired by your card, thank you!!!
You are so sweet, Amy! I’m a big fan of your cards! 😘
