Thi here, and I’m so excited to be part of this month’s release with Mama Elephant! Talk about cuteness overload! Somehow I was able to harness my excitement and make something cute to share today!

Today’s card features the new Donut Treats stamp set. Who does love donuts and adorable mice? This set has both!

Mama Elephant Donut Treats

When I saw donuts, I knew I wanted to make a sprinkles shaker card! I used real sprinkles and coordinated my entire design around the colors of sprinkles I had to keep it cohesive.

First, I stamped the images with Copic-Friendly ink and colored them with Copic markers. I added some white sprinkles with a white gel pen on top of my donut images to give it a little more interest and more cute! I then die cut them with coordinating dies and put them aside to work on my background.

For the background, I blended Distress inks in a random pattern in the same color palette. I splashed it with some water to get those magically bubbles you get when you do this to Distress Ink.  I then die cut the background with Park Avenue Creative Cuts frame die. I lined up the inside piece onto a A2 card back and heat emboss a little surprise message toward the bottom of the card using one of the sentiments that comes with Donut Treats.

For the frame, I stamped a sentiment from SCRIPTY BDAY with white Stazon ink onto the acetate. I adhered the acetate to the frame and put on two layers of foam tape before adhering it to the background. I already placed a mound of the sprinkles onto the card so I can just pop the frame on top and the shaker part is finished!

I finished the card but arranging my colored images on the front of the card and adhered them with some tape runner and the card is completed.

Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!
