Pretty Pink Posh May 2018 Blog Hop

Hello, crafty friends! Thank you for hopping along with Pretty Pink Posh today and don’t forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a the blog hop giveaway. More on this later!

Today’s card featured Playful Puppies, Get Well Soon Scripty Die and Gold Metallic Jewels from this month’s new release.

First, I started by stamping out the puppies with Versamark Sepia ink and watercoloring with Zig Brush markers. I then die cut them all out with coordinating dies.

For the background, I used a mini ink blender and blended Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks and splashed water on as well as splattered with more Tumble Glass. I was going for a lot of interest in this sky today.

While that dried, I diecut some Bristol smooth card stock with the stitched notes die. I diecut the inside piece with a straight stitch border die to create grass. I taped the pieces together then I masked off the top and ink blended the bottom with Old Paper and Crushed Olive Distress Ink to make grass. I then popped up the border with foam tape and adhered everything on an A2 card base.

I also popped the puppies onto foam tape for dimensions and added the card. I finished off these puppies with a few gold metallic jewels as their name tags. Just a little touch but I think it has the most adorable impact!

For my sentiment, I used the new Get Well Soon scripty die and die cut it 3 times on white card stock and once on gold glitter card stock. I stacked them up and glued them together with strong liquid glue. I love the dimension on this so much!

I finished the card with some Sunny Days sequin mix and this is my card! I hope you like it!
