Mama Elephant My Dragon and Me - Lemon Tea Crafts handmade card

I bought this stamp set right when they released it and have had this design on my mind for a while. I stayed up late last night to make this card and I am so happy I did. I love Mama Elephant products and am so happy with how this turned out!

I started by stamping out the images from Mama Elephant Me and My Dragon onto heavy weight white cardstock that can handle alcohol markers since I will be coloring with Copic markers.  I colored everything and fussy cut the images since I did not get the coordinating dies.

I then diecut the smaller cloud that leaves the outer stitching from the Mama Elephant Cloud Nine Creative Cuts die set onto Bristol Smooth white cardstock. I inked blended with Distress Ink in Shaded Lilac and and Victorian Velvet from the top and faded into white. I then splashed some water onto it to get those amazing spots that makes Distress Ink magically. I then felt the bottom was bare and I needed something to anchor the little boy I wanted to put on the “ground” and decided to take out my Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Border die and have him standing on a cloud. Why not? We are dealing with dragons here! It doesn’t have to be plausible. Haha.  I covered the back of the entire panel with foam taped and left it aside.

I stamped the sweet sentiment from Mama Elephant Scripty Notes with Versamark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder directingly onto a A2 top-folding card base. I then lined up the front panel with the cloud die and adhered it to the card base. I then adhered all my images onto the front with Tonic Deluxe Nuvo Glue.   I finished the card with beautiful Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.
