Today I felt like mixing it up a little bit…literally. I stretched the supplies I had and made this card featuring Pretty Pink Posh Cherry Blossoms and Lawn Fawn Quilted Background die. (This post contains affiliate links).
This card has huge impact because of the intricacy of the dies and the floral stamp, but it was actually quite simple to make. I colored the flowers with Copic markers then die cut them with coordinating dies. I die cut the frame and quilted background using one piece of paper. What I did to save waste was I cut out the frame first, then I lined up the inside piece into the quilt background die, and die cut that so that I didn’t waste two big piece of paper.
I then inlay the two die cuts onto a A2 top folding card base. Popped up the flowers with foam tape and embellished the card with Pretty Pink Posh 4m clear droplets…my favorite finishing touch with flowers.
For the sentiment, I stamped the Lawn Fawn Flirty Frame and Pretty Pink Posh Encouraging Greetings with Versamark ink onto black cardstock. I fussy cut the frame and popped it onto the card with foam tape and this card is done!
I made this card to play along with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Floral Frenzy.
