Lawn Fawn Lawnfawnatic Challenge Time!
I made a card for the fourth Lawnfawnatic Challenge! The theme is “Black, White & Bright”! I thought this was a fun idea and decided to participate since I love Lawn Fawn products!
I used Lawn Fawn Hedgehugs and used every stamp in the set. I always find this so gratifying.
I stamped the hedgehogs in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored the critters with Copic markers.
I used Distress Ink in Abandoned Coral, Mustard Seed and Peacock Feathers for the background. I utilized Distress Ink’s special property where it reacts with water to splatter some water and remove some of the ink to create awesome white blotches. I then finished off the background by stamping the heart that comes with the set in the same coordinating Distress Ink colors. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment “Sending Hedgehugs” on the background with Versafine Onyx Black to get a really crisp, and super dark black sentiment on the card.

I adhered the black and white heart patterned paper onto a 110 lb black card stock card base. Then I mounted the background I created with foam tape and the hedgehogs were mounted on that with foam tape as well to give it dimension.
I don’t know how to walk away from a project, so I added Clear Wink of Stella and added some details with a white gel pen to finish it off. Voila! I hope you like it!
